MY son has been using these for a couple week now for basketball and he loves them. Construction seems to be high qualify as does the materials. Just be sure to wear light colored or white compression shorts under as you can see dark colors right through the lighter colored shorts. His team wears the Vegas gold/white combo so you can see and dark colors under them. He also has a pair of navy shorts and the darker colors do not have this problem.
