These pants are made by a basketball jersey-type fabric and lined with a very thin fleece-like fabric. At first I was a bit put off by the jersey-like fabric, but then I put them on. First, it's hard for me to find pants that actually cover my ankles so I was very pleased that these pants were offered in long. Second, once they're on, the finish of the fabric is not as noticeable. I am a consistent size four, so a small should fit. However, I wanted the little bit extra length that a medium would offer, so I bought a size larger. I am glad I ordered a size up. The pants still fit nicely, but offer breathing room. I have enough extra room that I can layer a thin pant underneath which is nice since I live near Lake Tahoe and practicing outside in the winter can be brutal at times. I am now buying a navy pair since they are also offered in long. Thanks for offering pants for tall women.
